Websites that Shine for Small Businesses
Is your website like another employee? Does it meet new customers, answer questions, tell them about your work? How can you do it all with limited staff and a small budget?
On Friday, October 23, 2009, our eBiz Symposium will feature a lively discussion among panelists who know how to pull together great websites without a giant team of people.
Our moderator is Corissa St. Laurent, the Regional Development Director at Constant Contact. Corissa has many years of marketing experience and PR and a trained eye for looking at the customer experience.
Our panelists include Christine Koh of Boston Mamas and Posh Peacock. Christine's experience with Boston Mamas presents an interesting way for people to collaborate with content providers. So often, single proprietors or other small offices think that they cannot do it all. Christine's site shows how collaboration brings content to your website and improves traffic.
From a different perspective, we have Jeanne Connon from The Daily Grommet which creatively uses video to sell products. They have some great examples of how to use video to communicate your messages. Great ideas for spotlighting vendors.
Crafting a marketing message, collaborating with vendors and other partners, using video effectively - all on a small business budget with a small business time constraint. We look forward to hearing these stories at eBiz 2009.
